Our aim at Margiotta is to bring the best local produce to your best local store. We are proud to support many local businesses around Edinburgh, Scotland and the UK and we are always on the look-out for new one-of-a-kind businesses who can offer unique innovative products.
By sourcing local and organic products in our stores, we are supporting our local communities and reducing our environmental impact. Take a look at some of the fantastic companies we currently work with:
Margiotta has teamed up with Heather Anderson & Pete Richie who run a very successful Organic farm in West Linton, 16 miles from Edinburgh. For 5 years, we have proudly sold their top quality organic meat in all our stores. It was much a concern about animal welfare as changing customer demand for local, sustainable produce that lead us to Whitmuir, and we have never looked back! You will find a wide selection of high quality Whitmuir cuts of meat, burgers and sausages at a great value.

Stoats was born from a simple idea - "to take porridge to the people"
In 2005, school friends Tony & Bob toured the big summer music festivals, serving tasty, Scottish Porridge from their mobile Porridge Bar. With their passion for all things porridge, Edinburgh-based Stoats now produce a wonderful range of porridge oat bars, porridge quick pots, and boxes of porridge. All proudly made with premium scottish oats and available in your local Margiotta.

One of the main employers in the area, Stockan’s have a loyal and skilled workforce, some of whom have been with them for over 40 years. They're proud of their Orkney heritage, and the Islands are central to their operations, with the oatcakes baked and shipped from the islands to customers all over the world.
